GIZA
PYRAMIDS
The
pyramids of Giza are the only surviving Ancient Wonder of the World and one
of the most famous tourist attractions in the modern world. They are some
of the oldest sacred sites in our index and certainly among of the most
impressive. (The Great Sphinx of Giza has a separate article.)
Although
it is clear the pyramids were used for the burial of pharaohs, the
construction, date, and possible symbolism of the Giza pyramids are still
not entirely understood.
This
mystery only adds to the attractiveness of these ancient wonders and many
modern people still regard Giza as a spiritual place. A number of
fascinating theories have been offered to explain the "mystery of the
pyramids," one of which is summarized below.
Giza is
the most important site on earth for many New Age followers, who are drawn
by the pyramids' mysteries and ancient origins. Since 1990, private groups
have been allowed into the Great Pyramid, and the majority of these have
been seekers of the mystical aspects of the site. But even the most
skeptical visitor cannot help but be awed by the great age, grand scale and
harmonic mathematics of the pyramids of Giza.

Alexander Graham Bell (March 3,
1847 – August 2, 1922) was an eminent scientist, inventor, engineer and
innovator who is credited with inventing the first practical telephone.
Bell’s father, grandfather, and
brother had all been associated with work on elocution and speech, and
both his mother and wife were deaf, profoundly influencing Bell’s life’s
work. His research on hearing and speech
further led him to experiment with hearing devices which eventually culminated in Bell being awarded the first US patent
for the telephone in 1876. In retrospect, Bell considered his most famous
invention an intrusion on his real work as a scientist and refused to have
a telephone in his study.
Many other inventions marked
Bell’s later life, including groundbreaking work in optical telecom-
munications, hydrofoils and aeronautics. In 1888, Bell became one
of the founding members
of the National Geographic Society. He has been described as one of the most influential figures in
human history.
As a young child, Bell, like his
brothers, received his early schooling at home from his father. At an early
age, however, he was enrolled at the Royal High School, Edinburgh,
Scotland, which he left at age 15, completing only the first four forms.
His school record was undistinguished, marked by absenteeism and lackluster
grades. His main interest
remained in the sciences,
especially biology, while he treated other
school subjects with
indifference, to the dismay of his demanding father. Upon leaving school,
Bell travelled to London to live with his grandfather, Alexander Bell.
During the year he spent with his
grandfather, a love of learning was born, with long hours spent in serious

Once

boy as a successor to his throne. The king finally decided to adopt a son who
would be a prince. Then the king held an announcement to all the boys in his
kingdom that he was looking for someone to be adopted as his son. All the
boys in the country got together to meet the king. The king became confused
because there were many boys proposed themselves as a potential prince. Then
he thought so hard to find the boy who deserved to be a prince. Finally, the
king got an idea. He distributed seeds to all the boys. Then he said that
anyone who could grow the seeds into beautiful flowers would become the
prince.
All the boys in the country planted
and cared the seeds carefully. Including a boy named Yong Tu, he planted that
seed well. He also watered and gave enough fertilizer to the seed every day.
But after some time, he wondered why the seed didn’t grow into a plant. He
was almost disappointed at the condition. One of his friends named Park Ha
came and asked, “Why do not your seeds grow into a plant?” “I do not know. I
has taken care of the seed well.” Answer Yong Tu. Park Ha mocked him and
showed his seed that grew into a beautiful flower. “Mine has grown and has a
beautiful flower. I will be the successor of this kingdom,“ said Park Ha
arrogantly.
Shortly
after that, the election of the prince arrived. All the boys in the country
lined up and wore their best clothes. They also carried pots containing plant
with beautiful flowers. Then the king approached them one by one to choose
his successor candidate. But the king was very sad when he saw all the boys
brought plants with beautiful flowers. When he was almost disappointed, the
king saw Yong Tu in the back row, holding an empty flower pots.
The
king approached Yong Tu and asked, “Why are you carrying a pot that no plant
flowers?” “I maintained the seed that I sowed every day, but it did not
germinate at all.” The boy replied and cried. Then the king smiled at him.
“This is my adopted son who will be a prince,” said the king to the people.
All the boys were shocked. They asked the king, “Why did my lord choose the
boy without a flower? Did not you want a child who could grow the most
beautiful flower? “
“I shared you the seed that has been
boiled. Those seeds should not grow into plants. “The king answered. They
were all embarrassed with the king. In fact, the king didn’t want the boy who
could grow the most beautiful flowers. He chose someone who was honest. All
the boys in the country replaced the seeds given by the king to another
seeds. However Yong Tu didn’t do that because he was honest. Therefore the
king chose him as the prince.

Jaguars are the largest cats in the
Americas. They have a muscular body, a strong jaw, and a broad head. Their
entire body is covered by yellow and brown hair.
They are carnivores and become one of
the most feared predators by herbivorous animals. As carnivores, they eat
anything that can be caught. Deer, crocodiles, snakes, turtles, eggs, frogs,
fish, and monkeys are the variation of the animals they catch. As predators
that have strong jaws and sharp teeth, they can crush the skull with just one
bite. They are different from other cats. They love to swim and do not hesitate
if they need to jump into the water for swimming and catching the prey.
They are animals that can live
anywhere. You can see the jaguar in the rain forests, swamps, grasslands,
deciduous forests, and mountainous areas. Usually, they live alone, except in
the mating season. They are animals that spend a large part of their time on
the ground although sometimes, they can climb trees to catch the prey.
Today they become rare animals and are
prohibited to be hunted. In the worldwide, jaguar populations are very little.
Currently they are probably only about 15,000. Some regions in the Americas continue
to provide protection for them. Various conservations are done in the area of
Sonora and Mexico in order that they do not die out completely. If a long
